Time running out for Juve's Ranieri
Claudio Ranieri has admiitred that he knows he is under pressure to succeed at Serie A giants Juventus.
Ranieri and his side have come under heavy fire this week following a disastrous April during which they failed to win any of their four league matches while they were also bundled out of the Coppa Italia by Lazio.
Fans and shareholders of the club have demanded answers for their poor form with protests also being held in Turin.
Despite the unrest around the club, Juve still remain third in the Serie A table and are almost certain to clinch a place in next year's Champions League.
Ranieri is, however, all too aware that any coach's job can be a particularly tenuous one.
"We coaches know the life we must lead," the former Chelsea and Parma boss said ahead of Sunday's clash with Lecce.
"There is no change to the plan, now we need to give it our all in every game, because there is still a lot to play for.
"Up until now I have not had a meeting with the club, but we speak every day. There are still five more games to decide my future at Juventus.
"Have I received offers from elsewhere? Even if I had, I wouldn't say. I have a contract with Juve until next year, now I am focusing only on Lecce."
"I was not surprised at the dip in form after we went out of the Champions League," continued Ranieri.
"We had an excellent campaign and were playing at 120 per cent. For two matches after the European elimination we kept the right mentality, but with the break for international duty we lost our momentum.
"If we had kept going in the Champions League, there would have been no dip in concentration. I can see the squad is positive and wants to get back to winning ways.
"We did absolutely nothing good in April, so now the only way is up. I hope to see anger and determination, the qualities that emerged during the season."
