Diego Milito's agent claims he is in discussions with Premier League clubs over a move to England for the Genoa striker.

Reports this morning suggested the 29-year-old is on the verge of sealing a 16 million-euro move to Serie A giants Inter Milan.

However, Fernando Hidalgo insists his client, who has been linked with Tottenham and Manchester City, is also attracting the attention abroad.

"Is Milito going to Inter? I'm in London and I'm talking to several clubs," he told Calciomercato.it. "I can't say which clubs they are I can only say that they are important.

"Is it true that I've met directors from Manchester United? If I'm here there's a reason, there are interesting offers for him in the Premier League and we are evaluating them.

"Of course Milito wants to go to England otherwise I wouldn't be here."

Milito has scored 19 goals in 26 Serie A appearances for Genoa since returning to the club from Real Zaragoza in the summer.
