Quaresma heading to Genoa

Inter Milan's Ricardo Quaresma is set for a summer move to Genoa following his loan spell at Chelsea.

The 25-year-old joined Inter from Porto after Euro 2008 but struggled and was loaned to the Stamford Bridge club in the winter transfer window.

Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has now confirmed the Portugal winger will be a Grifoni player next term.

He said: "There is an agreement with Quaresma and we will get him in joint ownership (with Inter) for 10 million euros."

Quaresma will play alongside former Chelsea striker Hernan Crespo in Genoa next season.

"We should conclude Crespo's signing by tomorrow night," said Preziosi.

Crespo, whose contract with Inter ends this summer, has scored two goals in 13 league appearances for the Italian champions.

The arrival of the two players will be a blessing for Genoa coach Gian Piero Gasperini, with the club announcing last week the departure of pivotal duo Diego Milito and Thiago Motta to Inter at the end of the season.

"What does Gasperini think about this? When I told him he hugged me," said Preziosi.
