Adriano Galliani has expressed sadness over the departure of Carlo Ancelotti but believes that he will return to the Rossoneri one day.

Speaking to Milan Channel after the teams' final game on Sunday the Milan vice-president declared "Right now I'm very excited for Paolo Maldini's farewell and Carlo Ancelotti's goodbye: yes, the latter it will be just a goodbye, because the coaches can always return, whereas the players at the age of Paolo [can't], even though I continue to try to convince him not to stop."

Milan ended the season in third place, thus gaining direct entry into next seasons Champions League.

ncelotti has signed a three year contract with Premier League big-spenders Chelsea and will officially take charge on July 1st.
