Agent: Barca will never sign Zlatan

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent does not believe Barca will manage to sign the striker despite his client being "crazy" about the move.

A dinner between Inter president Massimo Moratti and Barca supremo Joan Laporta in Barcelona on Thursday has fuelled speculation of Ibrahimovic's possible departure to the Nou Camp this summer.

However, Mino Raiola believes the hefty price tag Inter are likely to slap on one of their prized assets would put Barca off.

"Ibra is crazy about going to Barca," he told El Mundo Deportivo. "But I am convinced that Inter won't let him leave unless they pay a lot of money for him.

"I am optimistic but, before anything, realistic, for that reason I think the signing will be difficult.

"On the other hand I can assure you that Zlatan is tremendously enthusiastic about this exciting sporting project and a significant financial offer.

"It is logical that Moratti asks for this money for Ibra. What would Cristiano Ronaldo cost to Barca? How much have Madrid paid for Kaka?

"So Zlatan Ibrahimovic should have the same value or more, simply because he is better than them."

Reports in Italy suggest Barca have offered 25 million euros plus Samuel Eto'o for the 27-year-old but that Inter are holding out for 40 million as well as the Cameroon striker.

Raiola believes that as soon as the clubs reach an agreement it will not take long for Ibrahimovic to agree personal terms.

"It seems to me that the dinner between Laporta and Moratti was not the first contact between Barca and Inter," he continued. "It's a while that they've been negotiating.

"It doesn't involve me though. I can only repeat that first the two clubs have to reach an agreement.

"We will sort things out with Barca quickly, there aren't any problems."

Ibrahimovic recently joined the club history books after becoming the first Inter player in 20 years to win the capocannoniere trophy as the leading goalscorer in Italy's top flight with 25 goals.

And Raiola claims he has set up nearly as many.

"Everyone has talked about the 25 goals Zlatan scored for Inter in Serie A," he added.

"But there is a statistic that for me has the same value or more and that is his 23 assists he gave his team-mates."
