Pandev seeks Lazio exit
Lazio striker Goran Pandev has confirmed his wish to leave the Roman outfit this summer.
The Macedonian international is under contract with the Biancoceleste for a further year.
"My cycle at Lazio has ended," said Pandev. "I want to find other motivations and play in a different team.
"I have spoken to (club president Claudio) Lotito and I have explained to him the situation.
"The president wasn't happy and doesn't believe that I wish to leave but I have ended with Lazio."
The 25-year-old joined Lazio in the summer of 2004 and scored nine league goals for the Roman outfit this season.
Pandev, who was a reported target of Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea last summer, has been strongly linked with a move to Juventus.
"I hope Lotito finds a solution that makes the club and me happy," said Pandev.
"I have spent five beautiful years at Lazio, I have improved so much and I have always behaved well.
"In recent months I have not been very focused. I thought my contract would be renewed but it wasn't.
"Now I have decided to leave."
