Tiago eyeing move back home

Juventus midfielder Tiago admits he could leave the club and return to Portugal following a dissapointing two-year stint in Turin.

Tiago, who signed from French outfit Lyon in 2007, has not enjoyed the best of times at Juve and has spent much of his two years as a fringe player at best - trying to force his way into the starting eleven.

Now it seems he is looking for a fresh start, with the midfielder eyeing a move to Portugal.

Speaking to Maisfutbol Tiago commented "Italian football is very tactical and it's not suited to my characteristics.

"My return to Portugal? I have never won the league there and so I would take advantage if I had the chance.

"However, I still have a contract with Juve, but you never know what can happen in football."

With Juve currently in negotiations with Udinese for Gaetano D'Agostino it seems likely that Tiago will be forced further out of the picture, hastening any such move back to Portugal.
