Juventus defender Olof Mellberg has agreed terms with Olympiakos in what could be the start of a clear-out at Juventus.

According to reports from AFP, the Swedish international has agreed a three-year deal with the Greek outfit with the Old Lady accepting an offer of around 2.7million euro's for the defender.

Juventus have publicly stated their intention to offload a number of players this summer as they look to rebuild under a new manager, with Mellberg being one of those expected to leave.

The news appears to put an end to the rumours surrounding a possible return to the Premier League for the 31-year-old, with the Greek side expected to make an official announcement on Monday.

Mellberg managed to make 27 appearances for the Bianconeri in his one and only season, scoring twice along the way.
