Juventus move for Grosso
Juventus have begun talks with Olympique Lyonnais in hopes of signing Italian left-back Fabio Grosso, according to Tuttosport.
Reports in France further claim the Ligue 1 side are looking at Brazilian left-back Andre Santos, and this has fuelled speculation that Grosso will make an exit.
Grosso now appears to be the most likely candidate to fill the left-back position at the Stadio Delle Alpi in Turin. The player's agent, Giuseppe Bozzo, is scheduled to meet with Lyon directors this week with the intention of negotiating terms between the French side and Juve.
Tuttosport has speculated that Juve will be able to land Grosso for around €2 million and they are set to match his €2.5m-per-year wages.
Juve chiefs are reported to travel to Lyon to present their bid to the French outfit after the player's agent works out preliminary agreements.
Lyon paid around €5m for the World Cup winner when he moved from Inter in 2007, but the Old Lady is expected to require far less, considering that Grosso is nearly 32.
Prior reports from both France and Italy have suggested Lyon are keen on Juve winger Mauro Camoranesi, but Camoranesi's agent has insisted that his client will remain in Turin.
