Highly rated Lazio striker Goran Pandev has been given a price tag of at least €18 million by his club.

Pandev has expressed his desire to leave Rome in search of greener pastures, but until now Lazio have been stalling on confirming a price for the striker.

However, Lazio sporting director Igli Tare confirmed a ballpark figure for the striker in an interview on Tuesday.

"Pandev has the desire to leave, but we cannot just sell him," Tare told Italian station Radio Kiss Kiss.

"The odds he will leave? In football there are none. One day Kaka is at Milan and the next day he is gone.

"His price? Napoli paid between €18-19 million for [Fabio] Quagliarella, who is a great striker, but I do not think Pandev is worth any less."

Pandev has scored 51 goals in his four-year career at Lazio, and has also found the net 15 times in 44 games for Macedonia, where he enjoys iconic star status and is widely considered the nation's best player.

He has been linked with Tottenham and German giants Bayern Munich, while closer to home, Fiorentina and Juventus are also reported to be interested.
