Melo is contented at Fiorentina
Brazilian star Felipe Melo has been linked heavily with Arsenal, but his spokesman has said he is very happy at the Florence club.
Melo's spokesman, Emiliano Froldi, told Sky Sports that the midfielder is settled at Fiorentina despite rumours linking him with a move elsewhere.
"Felipe is playing very well in the Confederations Cup and he had a tremendous season with Fiorentina," Froldi said.
"It's normal that there are rumours about him because of his great performances but the player and his family are very happy in Florence."
"He loves the city and he has a very good relationship with his team-mates, the fans and the club."
The 25-year old had a very good season with the Viola and has been on the radar of a number of bigger European clubs, most prominently Arsenal, who are reported to have made contact with Fiorentina.
Melo has continued to impress at the Confederations Cup, where he has played every single minute of each game for Brazil so far, and looked extremely solid holding the midfield together.
There will no doubt be bids for his services, and Fiorentina will certainly be hoping that Melo's spokesman is right about him being contented in Italy.
