Samdoria General Manager Beppe Marotta claims he has not received any offers for Former Roma and Madrid stiker Antonio Cassano.

Cassano, who usually plays in a supporting striker role, had a superb season with Sampdoria, and is being linked with a move to Serie A champions Inter.

"We have not received any requests for Cassano and we are not sorry about it," said Marotta.

Another topic Marotta discussed was the alleged move made by the club for Fiorentina midfielder Mario Santana.

"He is one of the names [we are looking at]. Another could be Juventus winger Marco Marchionni, but there are some economic obstacles in the way of us signing him.

"He is a player with a certain value and an important contract," Marotta concluded.
