Inter Milan's Brazilian right-back Maicon is likely to stay with the Italian champions for another year according to his agent.

Maicon has been linked with a move away from the Italian champions for the majority of the summer, with Real Madrid heading the list of clubs interested in the Brazilian.

However, his agent has recently suggested that his client will remain in Milan.

In an interview with Tuttomercaroweb Antonio Caliendo said "We'll see what happens in the next few days with Real Madrid, and make a decision from there.

"In any case though, there aren't only Spanish clubs that are interested in him, as Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool have also spoken to us.

"In the end, I believe that Maicon will follow [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic, and remain with Inter, as they will be extremely strong once again next season."
