Brazilian defensive powerhouse Felipe Melo is reported to be in Turin undergoing a medical for his new club Juventus.

According to Il Corriere Dello Sport, the 26-year-old's move will not be officially announced by Juve until his medical exams are concluded tomorrow.

Reports, however, suggest that the Brazilian international will not be playing with his new teammates until next week.

Juve boss Ciro Ferrara, though, has already prepared for the former Fiorentina man's arrival - planning on a possible 4-2-3-1 formation that would likely see Melo as his defensive anchor.

Even with news of the Brazilian ace's medical already revealed, is seems that neither Fiorentina nor Juventus are ready to make anything official.

Felipe Melo made 29 appearances and scored 2 goals for Fiorentina, since he joined the club in 2008.
