Italian club Napoli are keen on acquiring the services of Liverpool left-back Andrea Dossena.

The Partenopei will look to Dossena to bolster their defences, as their prime target Paolo De Cegie seems likely to stay with Juventus.

Liverpool, however, are set to drive a hard bargain.

Reports suggest  that ‘The Reds' are interested in a deal that would see Napoli's star midfielder Marek Hamsik to Anfield - an agreement unlikely to be considered by the Italian side.

Andrea Dossena has made 16 appearances for Liverpool since he joined the English club in 2008.
