Gianluca Zambrotta believes that AC Milan can contend for the Scudetto this season with Ronaldinho in the team.

"Milan are as good as Inter and Juventus. We can do better than last season when we came third," he told Milan Channel on Wednesday.

Ronaldinho was quickly left out in the cold in his first season with the Rossoneri, but he is going to be thrust into the limelight after the sale of Kaka.

"The list of champions I've played against? First there is [Zinedine] Zidane, second Dinho, and third Kaka," continued the former Barcelona defender.

"Ronaldinho is motivated to do well and can be our leader. He will perform, because he has been given more responsibility. I really hope he makes a difference, because we need it."
