Clarence Seedorf and Ronaldinho were caught up in some pre-season tension during Thursday's training session.

According to CorrieredelloSport, Ronaldinho showed a lack of enthusiasm when he arrived for training yesterday and it did not go unnoticed.

Veteran midfielder Seedorf singled him out for not trying hard enough and told him to be, "more keen and alert during the exercises".

Just as Seedorf seemed to have gotten under Ronaldinho's skin, coach Mauro Tassotti stepped in and warned the Dutch midfielder by saying, "I give out the orders" in training.

Newly-minted Milan boss, Leonardo, was also adamant that his Brazilian star needed to step up a level when he declared: "This year, I'll make him sweat tears,"

The Italian giants lost their two most influential players in the off-season with captain Paolo Maldini retiring and playmaker Kaka leaving to join Real Madrid.
