Barcelona and Juventus are reportedly negotiating a deal for a player swap involving Christian Poulsen and Martin Caceres.

Sport is reporting that Barca are eager to offload Caceres to Juve, the top candidate to land the defender. Caceres' agent has claimed that the Bianconeri are the preferred destination of his client, given his lack of appearances for La Blaugrana.

Barca are said to be in the market for a defensive midfielder, and are eyeing Christian Poulsen to fill that void in the team. The Dane performed satisfactorily for the Old Lady in the last campaign, but still drew criticism from the fans and pundits.

Poulsen has played in the Primera Liga before, turning out for Sevilla for two seasons.
