AC Milan to target Vucinic
Milan have joined in the chase for Roma striker Mirko Vucinic.
Barclays Premier League clubs Chelsea and Tottenham are also reported to be in the race for £16million-rated Montenegrin player.
The Rossoneri are still finding difficulties in reaching Luis Fabiano and are seeking a Plan B should his legal action against Sevilla fail to lower the price-tag to £12.5m.
The Montenegrin has a proven record in Serie A and the Champions League, while he would need no time settling into the Italian game.
Roma would obviously prefer to sell him overseas, where Premier League clubs are lining up for Vucinic.
Ancelotti has requested him for Chelsea and an offer of around £14m has been proposed, but the striker outright rejected Tottenham as an option.
According to Sky Italia, Milan are diving into the fray with a bid of £14m plus Under-21 international winger Ignazio Abate.
