Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara has told the club's fans that his team will not contemplate defeat in any game this season.

Speaking at the end of their annual pre-season presentation in Pinzolo on Monday night, an event that attracted a crowd of over 5,000 people, Ferrara spoke to the fans about the Old Lady's objectives for the upcoming season.

"We are delighted that all of you are here to greet us with such great enthusiasm," Ferrara stated to the Corriere dello Sport.

"One thing I promise you is that we are a team that will not ever stand to lose this season. Your expectations are ours."

Ferrara, who took over as coach following the sacking of Claudio Ranieri at the end of last season, faces a tough task as he looks to challenge repeat Serie A champions Inter Milan and return the Old Lady to its former glory.
