Lotito: No Pandev bids received
Lazio president Claudio Lotito has confirmed that he has yet to receive an official offer for striker Goran Pandev.
Pandev has been the subject of much transfer speculation this offseason, with clubs like Juventus, Napoli, Arsenal, Zanit St Petersburg and Olympique Lyonnais all linked to the Macedonia international.
"We do not want to let anyone leave this club, and we certainly do not have any intentions of selling off our players," Lotito stressed to Lalaziosiamonoi.it.
"As for Pandev, I can say that I am yet to receive an official offer from Napoli, or any others that have been interested in him."
The club from Rome is scheduled to battle Inter Milan for the Italian Supercup on August 8 in Beijing, but Lotito is not confirming whether Pandev will turn out for the Biancocelesti.
"This will definitely be a very important match for us, so we need to have our best team out there to ensure a positive result," added Lotito. "Having said this though, it is not for me to decide whether Pandev will play in this game, as that is up to the coach [Davide] Ballardini. They are his technical decisions to make."
"All I can say is that players must learn to respect their contracts. When a player signs one, he should respect it until the very end."
