Inter eye Cassano with Ibra cash

Inter Milan are keen on signing Sampdoria's Antonio Cassano using the cash they receive for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

According to Tuttosport, Inter boss Jose Mourinho is looking to find the ideal candidate to play behind Samuel Eto'o and Diego Milito next season.

Jose believes that Cassano would be ‘Fantantonio' for that role, provided the Marassi accept their deal that would see Amantino Mancini go the other way.

Reports suggest that that Inter will offer cash in addition to Mancini for the player.

Sampdoria director Giuseppe Marotta, however, claims that only a sizeable bid would see the 27-year-old leave.

Cassano's contract states that €18 million offer would be sufficient to see an exit from the club.

With Barca reported to be shelling out €45 million for Ibrahimovic, Jose could well have that ‘sizeable' bid needed.
