Diego: I am worth the money
Juventus' new playmaker, Diego, reckons he is worth the 25 million euros that the club laid out for his services.
Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Brazilian said: "I think I'm worth the money,
"For everything that's being said about me in Europe and for what I think I'm able to give to this team. My objective is to become harmonious with Italian football as soon as possible."
Diego also gave his two cents worth on compatriot Kaka's dominance of the playmaker's position in the national team.
"He is a superlative player, and also in his case I think the money that was spent on him was worth it,
"The Selecao has a variety of options. I want to get back in the team, but I'll need to do well with Juve. I want to re-enter the Brazilian group, nothing would make me happier."
Diego will look to form an all-Brazilian central midfield partnership with Melo who has shown in the Confederations Cup why he is considered by many as one of the best in his position at the moment.
