Roma fans have been told central defender Juan is going nowhere.

Roma director of sport Daniele Prade has responded to rumours surrouding the future of the popular 30-year-old Brazil international.

Fiorentina are the latest team to be keeping tabs on Juan.

"I have not had any contact from Fiorentina. According to some people, we have already reached a deal, but I know nothing about this," Prade told violanews.com.

"Juan will not be heading to Florence."

Even so, Roma fans can expect a high profile departure this summer as the club is still in considerable financial difficulty.

Mirko Vucinic is attracting interest from Arsenal while Liverpool might yet replace Xabi Alonso with Alberto Aquilani.
