Jose: Pressure for Ibra, not Eto'o

Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho believes that Zlatan Ibrahimovich has big shoes to fill, namely those left by Samuel Eto'o.

The recent swap of superstars between Inter and Barcelona has left many observers wondering which club received the shorter end of the stick.

Speaking to Corriere dello Sport, the outspoken ‘Special One' was in no doubt as to the answer.

"You want to know if Ibrahimovic's legacy will weigh heavily on Eto'o?

"Well, if you compare the careers of the two players, the pressure is on Ibra,

"It's just like a year ago when people spoke about the pressure on me and they were proven wrong," Mourinho said.

Nonetheless, the far from humble coach was appreciative of the Swede's services.

"We will not forget a player who has been so important to us, and I, as a coach, do not forget the players who have made significant contributions.

"However, I am not sad about this change and I am sure that the fans, like me, feel the same."

With Ibrahimovich's Barca debut set for August 16 against Athletic Bilbao, the Swedish striker will look to make ‘significant contributions' for his new club as well.
