Huntelaar is raring to play

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has settled in well at AC Milan says Luca Antonini.

Milan rescued the unsettled 26-year-old striker from Real this summer after the Spanish club went on a buying spree.

The Dutchman was scathing of his time with former employers treatment but he has quickly moved on and adapted at Milan.

"He has moved well, he already feels at home with the team," Luca Antonini told Calciomercato.it.

"He is well-prepared, he will surely do well," the right-back concluded.

Huntelaar completed a €15 million move to Milan earlier this month after just 8 months in the Spanish capital, having moved there in a €27m transfer from Ajax in January.

The Dutch international managed to score eight goals at Real Madrid while only appearing sporadically, and Milan will certainly hope that his natural goal-scoring instincts are as well suited to Serie A as they have been at his previous clubs.

The Rossoneri are currently on their way to Pescara, where they take part in the 19th Trofeo TIM this evening against Inter and Juventus.
