Ferrara satisfied with Juve win
Ciro Ferrara was happy to start the Serie A season with a victory as Juventus edged out Chievo Verona 1-0.
Juve were head-and-shoulders above Chievo in the first half, as Vincenzo Iaquinta scored the only goal of the game, but faded a little in the second half.
"After a good start we experienced some fatigue and that's why we were stretched [in the second-half]," he explained to Datasport following the victory.
"In any case, Juve have shown they can suffer and still take home three important points."
The former Bianconeri star was satisfied with the play of Tiago and Christian Poulsen, who have failed to impress since moving to Turin.
"I'm happy for those who went through a hard time last year and are now recovering. Both the Portuguese and Danish player had an excellent match," he concluded.
