Antonio Cassano has pledged his allegiance to Sampdoria and wants to see out his career at the club.

The former Bari youngster has been a star performer for Sampdoria in the last two years and is determined to continue his sizzling form in the new season that just started.

Speaking to Domenica Sportiva, Cassano said: "They keep asking me these uncomfortable questions, but I already said that I'm fine at Sampdoria,

"I'm happy here, I want to remain at Sampdoria for life. Here everyone loves me, they care about me and I enjoy being loved; it makes me feel good.

"In life there are things which are more important than money and big offers. I say it again that Samp gave me everything I need to be happy. It's the only real fundamental thing for me."

Despite Cassano's impressive form at club level, Marcello Lippi has refused to grant the talented forward a recall to the national side because of his reputation as a disruptive influence in the dressing room.

If Cassano continues to find the back of the net like he did against Udinese on Sunday night, it will be very tough for Lippi not to take him to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
