Former Brazil striker Careca has compared Juventus' new playmaker, Diego to Zico and Roberto Baggo.

Careca,who was Diego Maradona's strike partner at Napoli, reckons the former Werder Bremen ace is destined for greatness.

He told Tuttosport: "Diego reminds me of Zico and Baggio. His intelligence is Brazilian, but his capacity to score goals with ease is Italian,

"He is very clever and he knows when to dribble the ball and when to make it do the work. His feet are good, and he is he is very dangerous from free kicks.

"I think Diego can fill the hole left in Italian football by Kaka."

Diego has started his Serie A adventure with a bang by scoring two goals against AS Roma while also orchestrating every offensive move for the Turin giants.
