Santon keen on Inter stay
Inter Milan defender Davide Santon has ignored advice from Fabio Cannavaro, as he commits to the Italian giants.
Juventus centre-back Cannavaro had previously advised the youngster to gain experience at another club, a suggestion that did not sit well with Inter coach Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho criticized the Italian captain for "speaking like a coach".
The Nerazzurri, however, will rest easy knowing that the 18-year-old has pledged his allegiance with the Italian title-holders.
Speaking to GazzettadelloSport, Santon said: "I want to stay at Inter and all I'm thinking about is playing for the Nerazzurri."
As for his fate in the national side, Santon remained optimistic.
"This time I played as a winger and I have no problems with that. It's up to the coach to make the decisions and I will always try to do the best I can," he said.
