Brazilian legend Zico has criticized AC Milan's Ronaldinho on his recent performance.

The Milan star has a heavy burden on his shoulders of late, filling in Kaka's playmaker shoes.

Ronaldinho's poor form in recent showings,however, seem to negate his superstar label.

The 29-year-old's lack of football prowess for his recent derby 4-0 loss to Inter has prompted Zico to impart some much-needed advice.

Speaking to the La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Zico said: "A lot is asked of Ronaldinho because he has been a great player, and he has to give plenty because of this.

"However, he gave very little in the derby. He didn't run much and he found it hard to beat his man. Ronaldinho cannot accept playing like this.

"It's not about where he plays. A great player should be able to play in any position."

Ronaldinho would do well to heed the advice of the true Brazilian star lest he becomes a fading one.
