Weah backs Eto'o for glory

AC Milan legend George Weah has backed Samuel Eto'o to shine for Inter in Serie A.

Weah was involved in the Stefano Borgonovo fixture that took place at the San Siro stadium, beween legends of the Rossoneri and Real Madrid.

At the completion of the match, Weah was asked about Inter big-name signing, Samuel Eto'o.

"To repeat himself in Italy, he will need to work hard," Weah said to Repubblica.it

"The Serie A is a difficult league. At Barcelona, he did some stupendous things.

"When I came from Paris Saint Germain, many people were skeptical about my abilities because I cam from France. But I worked hard and I also did well in Italy."

"I wish him well, even though he plays for Inter."

Eto'o arrived at the Nerazzurri as a part of the Zlatan Ibrahimovic swap to Barcelona.

His side are set to host Parma, when the Serie A resumes this weekend.
