Samuel Eto’o is set to miss the Milan derby early next year due to international commitments with Cameroon.

Though the Lions Indomptables have qualified for next year's World Cup in South Africa, Cameroon are still keen on taking part in the African Cup of Nations in January.

The competition may also affect Eto'o's Inter Milan colleague Sully Muntari, as the Ghanian is a lock to be called up by his country.

Both attackers may stay for the fixture against Chievo on January 6, but are ruled out against Siena (Jan 9), Bari (Jan 17), and Milan on January 24.
