Inter great Riccardo Ferri is adamant that the current side is one of the strongest Nerazzurri sides that have taken to the pitch.

The Nerazzurri have rallied after their disappointing opening day draw against Bari by thumping AC Milan 4-0 in the second round.

And the squad looks to be coming together after a busy offseason, which saw Inter star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic get his dream move to Barcelona, and number of new faces move to the San Siro, including Samuel Eto'o and Wesley Sneijder.

"I would say that this squad has greatly improved over the past few months, and they have showed this in the first couple of matches," Ferri declared on Diretta Stadio.

"Sure they may have lost the Super Cup to Lazio, but look what [Jose] Mourinho's men did against Milan in the derby."

"This squad is one of the best I've seen at the club before, so the sale of Ibrahimovic was certainly not a bad decision, as many people believe."
