Don't blame the ref, blame the player
Napoli coach Roberto Donadoni was left incensed after his side were trounced 1-4 by Genoa.
Their recent drubbing have made it 17 matches without a win for Donadoni's side.
In a controversy-ridden match, the Azzurri boss has refused to blame the referee for their loss.
Speaking to Sky, Donadoni said: "I will not stand here and judge the work of the referee tonight.
"All I am interested in is that Napoli lost 4-1, and that is not the fault of the referee.
"How we played is what bothers me, and I feel sorry for my players, because I know they tried hard, but we should be doing a lot better than this. Everything went wrong for us tonight, so we are not very happy.
"Obviously there were a number of errors we made, which I hope don't happen again, so we will work on these things in time.
"We must learn from this defeat and respond immediately," Donadoni said.
