Leonardo: Milan aren't doing great
AC Milan boss Leonardo has expressed his disappointment over his side's 1-0 away loss to Udinese on Wednesday night.
Speaking to Sky news channel, Leonardo said: "This defeat hurts us, perhaps we were lacking in the final touch.
"We started well, but then we conceded the goal and everything became more difficult.
"Our second half was very good: we created two or three chances, a draw would've been possible.
"We aren't doing great, but we weren't bad either."
The defeat has brought the Italian giants six points behind Serie A leaders Inter Milan.
Leonardo who took the Rossoneri reins from now Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti clearly has big shoes to fill, and a ‘Kaka-less' Milan midfield has not made it any easier.
The coach did address the performances of his current crop of stars.
On a lacklustre Alexandre Pato, Leonardo said: "They marked him very closely, and he struggled a lot to find space.
"We are lacking in the final third of the field.
"Ronaldinho? He did well when he came on, giving speed to our moves," Leonardo explained.
