Genoa 2-2 Juventus
Genoa and Juventus shared the spoils in a four-goal thriller at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Serie A action.
Vincenzo Iaquinta put Juve ahead in the sixth minute, but Giandomenico Mesto replied after half an hour.
Hernan Crespo put the home side ahead in the 75th minute of a pulsating game, but Juve, who had two goals disallowed for offside, levelled with three minutes remaining through David Trezeguet.
The result maintains the Bianconeri's unbeaten start to the season and takes them back level with Inter Milan at the top of Serie A while Genoa move up to fourth, three points adrift of the joint league leaders.
Having lost top spot to arch-rivals Inter yesterday, Juve were desperate to get back on top of the pile with a win over Genoa.
But their hosts were also eager to bounce straight back from their first defeat of the season and draw level with their guests in second place.
It looked like the Bianconeri would succeed when they took an early lead.
In-form striker Iaquinta was left a bit too much room on the edge of the penalty and needed no invitation to send his low shot beyond the reach of Marco Amelia into the bottom corner.
Genoa could have found themselves two or even three behind as they allowed Amauri too much room inside the area to meet a succession of free-kicks from Fabio Grosso.
But the Rossoblu took their first real opportunity of the game to draw level in the 31st minute with Mesto leaping high to send a bullet header past Gianluigi Buffon from Giuseppe Sculli's perfect left-wing cross.
Juve were quick out of the blocks again in the second half and caught Genoa's defence napping when Claudio Marchisio lifted the ball into the path of Iaquinta.
The linesman's flag rightly stayed down, but Iaquinta was unable to take his chance, despite getting goal side of Amelia only to cut back and see the Genoa goalkeeper recover to make the save.
Iaquinta had another chance in the 64th minute when he was found at the far post by Mauro Camoranesi, but after controlling the ball well, he lost his balance to allow Amelia to take control of the situation.
A minute later, Camoranesi headed just over the crossbar from another dangerous set-piece from Grosso.
Genoa's first chance of the second half fell to Sculli, who cut in from the left wing and tried his luck from 25 yards with Buffon tipping his dangerous shot over the crossbar.
Grosso set up the next chance for Juve with yet another free-kick which Iaquinta nodded in at the far post, albeit from an offside position, according to the linesman.
There was no doubt about the goal which put Genoa ahead, though, as their man of the match Mesto whipped in a cross from the right that Crespo flashed into the top corner at the near post with a perfectly-taken header in the 75th minute.
Juve had their second goal of the night ruled out when Trezeguet was caught offside in the build-up to Giorgio Chiellini's bundled strike in the 84th minute.
And there was more than a hint of offside in Juve's equaliser moments later when another Grosso free-kick caused panic in the Genoa penalty area and Chiellini's header across goal was tucked in by Trezeguet to earn Juve a point.
