Muntari: I'm staying at Inter

Sulley Muntari has moved to curb speculation suggesting he is seeking a move away from Inter Milan.

The Ghana international has been unable to hold down a regular role under Jose Mourinho this season, but insists he understands the club's need to rotate.

Muntari has spoken out after his agent hinted that Inter could be willing to listen to offers for his services.

The former Portsmouth midfielder accepts that competition for places exits at every club and claims he will do all he can to become a regular starter in the future.

"I am an Inter player," he said.

"I am tranquil because there are many of us and we must accept the selections made by Jose Mourinho.

"We cannot play with 25 players and I am working to be a better player."

The arrivals of Wesley Sneijder and Thiago Motta over the summer have pushed Muntari down the pecking order at the club, fuelling reports that he could be on his way during the January transfer window.
