Juventus vs Bologna Preview
David Trezeguet is confident Juventus can get their scudetto chase back on track against Bologna.
Juve dropped their first points of the season at Genoa, although Trezeguet's late goal salvaged a draw for the Bianconeri and saw them remain level with Inter Milan at the top of the table.
The Serie A giants have an embarrassment of riches up front and Trezeguet believes they can fire Ciro Ferrara's team to the title.
"It was a really good game against Genoa," he said. "A really great proof of our maturity.
"Unfortunately we didn't manage to win but it was an important draw.
"Personally I hope to profit from it, I'm ready.
"I'm always training, I know that there are extraordinary players in front of me and I hope that Amauri is back to his best soon, he deserves it.
"(Vincenzo) Iaquinta is proving himself to be extraordinary, soon (Alessandro) Del Piero will be back, we have a good foursome.
"What I want is for us to win the scudetto."
Juve certainly looked like a team capable of storming to the title on Thursday and they probably deserved more than a solitary point.
Ferrara might mix up the squad ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash at Bayern Munich.
Attacking duo Diego and Del Piero are set to return to action but veteran defender Fabio Cannavaro and midfielder Tiago are both still struggling with thigh injuries.
Bologna recorded their first victory of the campaign in midweek, with a 2-0 triumph over Livorno.
They are yet to score away from home and know a stern test awaits them at the Stadio Olimpico.
One man who is looking forward to making the trip to Turin is striker Marcelo Zalayeta who spent a decade at Juventus.
"It's a special game for me," said the Uruguayan, who is on loan from Napoli. "Against the team in which I played for so many years and who gave me so much.
"It's not the first time I've played against them since leaving, but it always has a particular taste for me.
"At that time there were many really strong strikers in front of me, champions that are still making the difference.
"It's clear that one wants to always play, but I really have nothing at all on which to recriminate, I'm grateful for the career I had at Juventus."
Zalayeta added: "We have to go there calmly, knowing that it is a difficult game and that it will not be easy to get a result, but also with the desire to give 100% on the pitch.
"If you go to Turin with fear and lock yourself up in defence, sooner or later you'll concede a goal because there are really strong players on their side and it is not easy to remain focused for 90 minutes."
Vangelis Moras, Davide Bombardini, Massimo Marazzina and Massimo Mutarelli are all out.
