Mancini coy on Napoli rumours
Former Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini has praised Napoli as a "strong club" - just day's after being linked with them.
Napoli are struggling for form this season and despite last weekend's promising 2-1 victory over Siena currently lie in 14th position on the Serie A ladder.
Their sporting director Pierpaolo Marino was recently relieved of his duties and many believe that coach Roberto Donadoni could be next, with Mancini waiting in the wings to take over.
Speaking in an interview with Rai, Mancini commented "There is competition in the staff at Napoli, because they are a strong club that want to do very well."
Over the course of the past year or so, Mancini has been a rumored to be on the agenda of West Ham, Chelsea, Fulham, Leicester City, and most recently Napoli.
However, Mancini was keen to point out that Napoli still had an excellent manager stating "Donadoni is doing a good job though, so he should be fine."
He continued, "On my return to coaching? There are several possibilities, but I will evaluate them in the future. I am in no hurry.
"I will return when the time is right."
The former Fiorentina, Lazio and Inter manager has been out of work since being sacked by Inter and replaced by Jose Mourinho in 2008.
