Sculli: Genoa will play to win
Genoa striker Giuseppe Sculli refuses to be intimidated by the match-up with reigning champions Inter this weekend.
Sculli admits that beating Inter will not be an easy task, but has promised the fans that Genoa will give their all as they look for maximum points against Jose Mourinho's men.
Playing at the Marassi will be an added incentive for the Grifoni, but so will going in with a determined philosophy to win.
Speaking to Novantesimo.it Sculli commented "I will play in the spirit that [coach Gian Piero] Gasperini has cemented in us.
"A game that requires us to push along the wings, and be ready to drop back when needed.
"It is a characteristic that all big teams have, such as Inter - to always want to extend their winning streaks.
"These are tough matches, and Saturday will be the same, but anything can happen."
Genoa are currently in fifth spot on the league ladder, just three points behind current leaders Inter, and will be hoping that the home crowd and a winning mentality will give them the edge over the visitors.
