Roman's move to Milan gains legs

Roman Pavlyuchenko's agent has admitted that Italian giants Milan are one of the clubs interested in his client.

The Tottenham striker has failed to earn a first-team spot at White Hart Lane and could be tempted to join Milan during the Janaury transfer window to play Champions League football.

"I will meet Tottenham's directors in the next few days to understand the lad's future," Pavlyuchenko's agent is quoted as telling Il Corriere dello Sport.

"Spartak and Zenit are interested in him, but Milan could also reveal themselves to be an interesting option to everyone involved."

The Rossoneri are still on the lookout for a big presence up front as Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has floundered since his arrival from Real Madrid.
