Leandro Cantamessa, AC Milan’s attorney, has revealed that deal to bring David Beckham back to the San Siro is almost complete.

Beckham is reportedly close to re-joining Milan, but while Cantamessa claims that the proceedings are going well, the deal is far from being done and dusted.

"We are close but, until things are signed...these are things that are down to the managers, us lawyers should always stand back. However, on the horizon things seem positive," Cantamessa told Calciomercato.it.

Cantamessa also could not reveal to the public any future transfers for the Serie A giants in January.

"Will there be other movements in January? I don't have much to say on this. I have no indications in that sense," added the lawyer.

"These things are usually decided as the market approaches. It's a little early to talk about it now."
