Seedorf urges Milan to keep momentum
After AC Milan's Champions League win at Real Madrid, Clarence Seedorf wants his team to use this as a catalyst to restart for their season.
Milan have been in indifferent form this term and only last week, they were in 'crisis'.
Now they have registered back-to-back wins over Roma and Real, with Alexandre Pato grabbing the winning goal in both games.
"We mustn't stop now", said Seedorf according to football-italia.net.
"We really needed an important victory like this. These satisfactions help to overcome difficult times, but we mustn't stop now," said the Dutchman.
"The success against Real Madrid has to be the starting point from which we can build our future."
Milan now lead the Champions League group on a par with Real and welcome the Spaniards to San Siro in the next round.
Before then they face a double Serie A test away to Chievo and Napoli.
"We have won an important game, but must immediately get back to focusing on Serie A. Every single victory helps the team to grow."
Leonardo's squad have struggled domestically this season with just six goals scored and 12 points amassed after eight games.
