Jose: Never easy after European game
Jose Mourinho stated that he was satisfied with Inter Milan’s performance after their 2-1 win over Catania.
Inter played Dynamo Kiev on Wednesday and Mourinho was well aware of the fatigue factor coming into this Serie A game.
"I was satisfied with how we played in the first half, and the way we fought in the second, it's never easy after a Champions League match," he said.
"We could have closed it earlier, then when we conceded a goal late on things changed again, we were a little tense."
Sulley Muntari and Wesley Sneijder scored for the Nerazzurri in the first half, with Giuseppe Mascara scoring a penalty late in the second to provide some drama to the game.
"Today I played [Ivan] Cordoba because he's in form, the same goes for [Patrick] Vieira," Mourinho told Sky Sports Italia after the game. "My team needs some rest once in a while, before certain Champions League matches I will leave 3-4 players out, I will make more changes and perhaps risk something more in the league."
