Dejan Stankovic is ready to make his 300th appearance in the Serie A against Palermo in midweek.

The Serbian midfielder has been in sensational form this season and is becoming one of Jose Mourinho's most consistent players in recent weeks.

Speaking to Corriere dello Sport, Stankovic said: "Yes, I am ready,

"On one hand, I am happy. But on the other hand, not so much because we are starting to talk about high numbers."

The 31-year-old also made known his desire to continue his Inter adventure and announced that he will be signing a new deal soon.

He said: "I want it to last a little longer,

"Perhaps not 300 more, but 200 is fine. With Inter? Of course, I am booking myself in for the next five championships.

"There is not much to discuss to renew my deal. I can't picture myself with another shirt and things will naturally fall into place. I am part of a family here."
