Swine flu directive issued by UEFA

Inter Milan have been assured by UEFA that their Champions League game against Dynamo Kiev will not be postponed because of a swine flu outbreak in Ukraine.

UEFA have revealed new measures that told all domestic leagues not to postpone games so long that both sides can field a match-day squad.

Inter will be traveling to Ukraine to play Dynamo on Wednesday for their fourth Group F Champions League game. They are bottom of this group after collecting three points.

According to La Repubblica, Ukraine Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko said: "Everything that relates to football competitions will be evaluated through consultations and discussions."

The statement was a reaction to French Ligue 1, where several matches have been called off after players came down with swine flu.
