Leonardo: Borriello will give us a lot

Leonardo was delighted with AC Milan’s 2-0 victory over Parma, a win that has propelled them to fourth place in the Serie A.

The Milan coach also pointed out that Marco Borriello played extremely well after a year's hiatus due to injury.

"I'm very satisfied. We scored quickly, we could have closed the match earlier but we were able to suffer," he said to Repubblica.it.

"The important thing is to have alternatives to be able to make changes according to the situations. [Borriello] scored two goals, one of which was great, he's a player who will give us a lot."

When asked if he would pick Borriello over Filippo Inzaghi in the Champions League game against Real Madrid in midweek, Leonardo said: "The important thing is that I can choose, everyone has had their space and they will continue to have it.

"Milan's objectives? It's obvious that we're thinking about the Cups, but we have to grow in terms of our football, and gain more consistency."
