Mourinho: We took a few risks
Jose Mourinho was contented with Inter Milan's 2-0 away win over Livorno and is already shifting his focus onto Dynamo Kiev.
The Nerazzurri put in an efficient performance with goals from Diego Milito and Maicon giving them three points as they continue to lead the rest of the pack in the Serie A.
Speaking to SkySport after the game, Mourinho said: "There is only a small difference between winning a drawing,
"Today we took a few risks given the decision to use some turnover. I had to make such decisions once the game was going our way. I wanted to give some rest and more playing time to several players, but we still have a problem with injuries."
"Just think about Thiago Motta, [Samuel] Eto'o, and [Diego] Milito, who played 90 minutes today for the first time in over a month.
"Despite Livorno's aggressive opening, I was happy with how we controlled the game in the second period. Let's see now if we can take home an important result from Kiev during the week. It would certainly give the side some much needed moral to push on in the competition."
Inter will shift their attention to the Champions League as they search for their first victory in Europe against Dynamo Kiev.
