AC Milan youngster, Ignazio Abate, wants his team to go for victory against Lazio on Sunday.

Leonardo's team have enjoyed a good run of form in the last two weeks and Abate wants his fellow teammates to keep the momentum going against a Lazio side struggling in the league this season.

He told Milan Channel, "We have to go to the Olimpico to try and bring home the three points,

"We are playing very well and we want to improve our position in the standings. Lazio are not going through a good moment, but they will give their best on the pitch, just like we will."

He also declared himself fit after sustaining an ankle injury that kept him out of action for the last few weeks.

"I am fine now. I am getting back after injuring my ankle. I have been training regularly and hope to return to top condition," concluded the midfielder.
